LiveMIDI Privacy Policy

Thank you for using LiveMIDI (com.rardhian.LiveMIDI) Android app.

LiveMIDI does not read, collect, store, or publish any personal information from the user Android device, in any way.

The following permissions are required for LiveMIDI to run properly, with description of functionality affected by the permission:

- android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
LiveMIDI requires READ_PHONE_STATE permission to listen for incoming and outgoing call event. Whenever LiveMIDI is playing music during a call event, LiveMIDI will pause the currently playing music to prevent interruption or disturbance to the call. LiveMIDI does not read, collect, store, or publish any call information from the the call event itself, in any way.

- android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
LiveMIDI requires WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission to be able to write the uncompressed soundfont, configuration, and playlist provided from LiveMIDI, into the device's external storage, within the LiveMIDI subdirectory. LiveMIDI does not read, collect, store, or publish any user information from the external storage itself, in any way.

- android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
LiveMIDI requires WAKE_LOCK permission to be able to keep the screen on during lyrics view.

- android.permission.RAISED_THREAD_PRIORITY
LiveMIDI requires RAISED_THREAD_PRIORITY permission to be able to maximize device CPU allocation, allowing best possible performance during audio rendering.
